Terms of Service

By accessing or integrating the APIs, SDKs, and verification services provided by MYETV Identity Provider (identityprovider.myetv.tv), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our API services.

1. Service Description

MYETV Identity Provider offers automated identity document parsing, MRZ/barcode checksum validation, active liveness detection, facial biometrics matching, and age verification APIs. The service is provided on a self-hosted, RAM-only architecture designed for privacy and high availability.

2. API Key Security & Developer Obligations

• Credential Protection: You are strictly required to keep your API Secret confidential. API Secrets must never be exposed in client-side Javascript, mobile application binaries, or public code repositories. All final calls must route through your secure backend proxy.
• Lawful Consent: You guarantee that you have obtained explicit, legal consent from your end-users before transmitting their identity documents or biometric photos to our API endpoints.
• Acceptable Use: You may not use the service for fraudulent activities, identity theft testing, malicious brute-forcing, reverse-engineering of local AI vision models, or circumventing system rate limits.

3. Rate Limits & Usage Quotas

• Requests are rate-limited based on IP addresses and API Key plan tiers (Free, Pro, Enterprise).
• Exceeding rate limits or quota boundaries will result in HTTP 429 Too Many Requests errors.
• MYETV reserves the right to suspend or terminate API keys exhibiting abusive traffic patterns, bot attacks, or unauthorized credential sharing.

4. Service Availability & Cold-Start Disclaimers

• While we strive for 99.9% uptime on our dedicated infrastructure, the service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
• Because vision models run locally on private hardware, occasional model cold-starts may introduce brief latency on initial requests. Developers must configure client timeouts to at least 120 seconds as outlined in our API documentation.

5. Limitation of Liability

MYETV Identity Provider shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of business data, or legal disputes arising from fraudulent documents that bypass automated AI detection layers. Our anti-spoofing flags (e.g., ELA, Moiré checks, facial match confidence scores) serve as automated verification aids and should be integrated alongside your platform's broader risk management rules.

6. Termination & Subscriptions

You may cancel your subscription or delete your API credentials at any time via the developer dashboard. Paid plan subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing cycle has commenced, except as required by applicable EU consumer protection laws.

7. Governing Law & MYETV Platform Integration

These terms are governed by applicable Italian and European Union law. For user account management, authentication, and platform identity management, these terms operate in conjunction with the general MYETV Platform Terms available at myetv.tv.
